Sway Bar Links
Sway bar links connect the stabilizer bar to the suspension.
What it does
Help control body roll and transfer suspension forces during bumps and turns.
Failure signs
- Clunking over bumps
- Rattle from suspension
- Loose handling
- Noise on one side
- Body roll feels worse
Maintenance notes
- Inspect links and bushings when clunks appear over small bumps.
- Do not confuse sway bar noise with strut or control arm noise without inspection.
- Replace damaged links in pairs when wear is similar.
